Acacia brownii

Acacia brownii, commonly known as heath wattle, is an erect or spreading shrub which is endemic to Australia.

It grows to between 0.3 and 1 metre high and has rigid, terete phyllodes. The globular yellow flowerheads appear singly in the leaf axils from August to November, followed by curved flat, seed pods that are 1.5 to 8 cm long and 3 to 5 mm wide.

The species occurs on sandy or clay loam in dry sclerophyll forest, woodland or heath in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
