Abu Esmail Moayed-o-din Hosein-ebn-e-ali Esfahani Togharayi was a highly regarded man in the Saljoughian dynasty. He was born in Isfahan, Iran in 1045 A.D.

He had mastered all sciences of his time, and he also wrote some books about alchemy, such as Jame-ol-asrar, Trakib-ol-anvar, and Masabih-ol-hekmat va Mafatih-ol-rahmat, Haghaegh-ol-esteshhadat, Zat-ol-faraed, Alrad Ali-ebn-e-sina fi Ebtal-el-kimia.

He also participated in political works and became the minister of Masoud-ebn-Mohamad Malek Shah.

Togharayi wrote a book of poems, the best poem of which is Lamiyat-ol-ajam, which was written in reaction to Lamiyat-ol-Arab of the famous poet of the Idiocracy age of Arabs. The reason for their naming is the ā€œLā€ rhime.

Lamiyat-ol-ajam is a great work which shows that Togharayi had mastery in Persian language as well as Arabic. In this poem he emphasizes his will and freedom.

In the end, he was accused of atheism, and he was murdered in 1105 A.D.
