The company is a unit of Abi & Abi group of companies,institutions & media, which is associated with the leading business partners such as Hero MotoCorp, Yamaha Corporation, Tata Motors, Pepsi, Honda, Kirloskar, Ashok Leyland, Mitsubishi, Exide Industries, Microtek, Apollo Tyres, Michelin and overseas businesses like Construction in Dubai, Hotels in London, Manufacturing and Marketing of Electronic Products and Toys in China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong in addition to import and export of spices and food products. About the Founder
T. E. Abinesh is the founder of the company, who catapulted Abi & Abi to multi-product, multi-functional company and a force to be reckoned with in the world industry and he took Abi & Abi into high peaks in the world business arena.
Filmography
Abi & Abi Pictures had started its career as a distributor and financier in the industry on 2011 with their first movie Eththan starring Vimal, Sanusha, Jayaprakash and others, directed by L. K. Suresh and produced by Sherali Films, Nazir Hussain. And over in the year the company had distributed three more movies in entire Tamil Nadu. In the year of 2012 also Abi & Abi had distributed around 15 like Manam Kothi Paravai, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, and more films in various areas of Tamil Nadu and in the year 2013 had financed for various distributors for projects like Ethirneechal and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.
T. E. Abinesh always had a hunger to establish his business and friends, likewise he started doing business with the Tamil industries leading production house Studio Green in 2013, he bagged the distribution rights of the movies like Soodhu Kavvum, Pizza II: Villa and from there onwards he established his business with Thirukumaran Entertainment also. Abi & Abi Pictures and Thirukumaran Entertainment were associated from 2013 and done various films joining their hands together like Soodhu Kavvum, Pizza 2: The Villa, Kalyana Samayal Saadham, Thegidi, Sarabham, Enakkul Oruvan, Indru Netru Naalai, 144, Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum, and Iraivi.Kadhalum Kadanthu Pogum starring Vijay Sethupathy, Madonna Sebastin and others, music by Santhosh Narayanan and directed by Nalan Kumarasamy of Soodhu Kavvum fame, Iraivi starring Vijay Sethupathy, S. J. Surya, Bobby Simha, Karunakaran, Anjali, Kamalini Mukharjee and others, music by Santhosh Narayanan and directed by Karthik Subburaj of Pizza and Jigarthanda fame in which Abi & Abi is associated with Thirukumaran Entertainment and Studio Green. One more project in the pipeline is Abi & Abi is joining hands with Y Not Studios for the official Hindi remake of our movie Kalayana Samayal Saadham to be directed by director R. S. Prasanna in association with Tanu Weds Manu fame director Anand. L.Roy. This will mark Abi & Abi entry in to the Bollywood. Abi & Abi is joining hands with Thirukumaran Entertainment again for the official Kannada remake of their movie Thegidi which will mark entry into Sandalwood.
Meanwhile, Abinesh Elangovan also joined his hands with his friends to start a distribution company called Dream Factory, which has Gananvel Raja of Studio Green, C. V. Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment, Sashi Kanth of Y NOT Studios, and Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment as its partners, headed by Sakthivelan which is the one of leading distribution company in the industry nowadays.
