Abhishek Singh is a Member of parliament, Lok Sabha from Rajnandgaon (Lok Sabha constituency) in Chhattisgarh, India. He is the son of Raman Singh, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He was elected to Lok Sabha in May 2014 as a candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Early life

Abhishek Sngh was born on 5 March 1981 at Kawardha. He is the son of Raman Singh and Veena Singh. He did his B.E from GEC, Raipur. He later completed his M.B.A. from XLRI- Xavier School of Management.
Political career

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he defeated Kamleshwar Verma of Indian National Congress by a margin of 235,911 votes. At the age of 33, he became the youngest MP in Chhattisgarh's history. In 1999, his father had won from the same Rajnandgaon constituency by a margin of 26,715 votes.
