Abhilash Maliyekkal Ayyappan (born 18 January 1982) better known as Abhilash Pudukad is a music columnist and poet from Kerala state, India. He is noted for his distinctive style of reviews in both music articles and poems. He has written two books about singer S. Janaki. in malayalam Titled 'S.Janaki-Alapanathile Thenum Vayambum'. In Indian Film Industry,his First book got World Record from Records Holders Republic and this is the First Malayalam book got honour.

Literary career
Pudukad was noted for his love and respect for singer S. Janaki. He wrote a book about her singing, life and songs. The book,Aalpanathile Thenum Vayambum, has details collected from many prominent personalities who worked with the singer. The Books were launched in Kochi on 12 September 2015 in the presence of music directors M. K. Arjunan and Vidhyadharan, singers P. Jayachandran, K. S. Chithra, Lathika and Minmini, writer R. K. Damodharan, actor Madhu, and Arabic poet Shihab Ghanem.
