Abdullah Tahiri

Education

Tahiri attended primary school in Gjilan wally Malisheva of Gjilani, high school in Gjilan, and started and finished in Bujanovac high and that the Faculty of Agriculture in Pristina. He was the fourth of six children. He attended primary school head in the village and secondary school in Gnjilane, and continued there until 1975, at which point he left because of "hostile activities" against the state. His secondary education continued in Bujanovac. He did not finish there due to expulsion because he was one of the organizers of demonstrations to spring 1981. Biography

Tahiri was one of the organizers of the 1981 protests which took place on the 11th of March 1981 in Pristina. While many believed the protest to be spontaneous, it was in fact planned and organized by Gani Koci, Bajram Kosumi, and others.
