Abdirahman Koronto, is a senior multi-media broadcast journalist working with the BBC. He currently leads the Somali section of the BBC, as the Output Editor. As a journalist, he is credited to be a responsible and professional journalist. He has been in the media for over 25 years.

Abdirahman studied in University of Westminster in London, UK; for his MA International Broadcast Journalism, he currently studies MBA at Open University In his youthful years, he graduated from Yusuf al-Kowneyn.
Work experience
He worked as a broadcast journalist at Radio Mogadishu in 1990s before then joining the first privately owned radio in Somalia Radio HornAfrik and became director of programmes in both Radio and TV. He joined the BBC Somali Service in June 2000.
