Aaron Mason (born 7 January 1876 in Whitland, Wales) was an influential 19th-century political scientist often credited with being the single most influential of David Lloyd George's advisers; some even go as far as to call him the only reason a Welshman was ever elected prime minister. He was the Minister's senior campaign adviser, but was forced into retirement at 58 after an affair with a secretary ruined his reputation.
