Aaron Ginn is a Silicon Valley technologist, an early founder of the growth hacking movement, who specializes in marketing, data science and product development. Originally from Arlington, Texas, Ginn is an Asian American and currently resides in San Francisco. Ginn graduated from Texas Christian University in 2010 and is currently one of the co-founders of Lincoln Initiative (formally named Lincoln Labs). Most recently, Ginn is a co-host on the podcast show While We’re On The Subject. Ginn is a published author featured on Breitbart, TechCrunch, TheNextWeb, and Townhall discussing a variety of subjects from behavioral science to viral marketing strategies.

Awards

Ginn is named by Wired as being one of the top 20 Tech Insiders Defining the 2016 Campaign.

Ginn is a recipient of the Direct Marketing News award 40 under 40 in 2015 for marketing achievements.

The San Francisco Chronicle credits Ginn as a “rising star” in an article discussing how conservative tech-industry professionals such as Ginn are helping the Republican Party go digital.44

Ginn was named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 for Law and Policy in 2017.

Education

Ginn graduated from TCU in 2010 with a degree in behavioral economics and in Chinese. Ginn received an academic award for his senior thesis on Maslow’s hierarchy. Ginn also completed a three-year private study at Southwestern Seminary.

Career

In 2011, Ginn became a "growth hacker" for Simplee, a Palo Alto-based startup that works to streamline healthcare payments for consumers.

In 2012, Ginn became the head of growth for StumbleUpon, a search engine that recommends websites, videos and photos to users based on their personalized tastes.

In 2012, Ginn also worked on Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign to help user growth, retention strategies, and fundraiser optimizations.

In 2013, Ginn co-founded Lincoln Initiative along with Garrett Johnson and Chris Abrams. Lincoln Initiative is a right-of-center non-profit organization that focuses on bridging the gap between policy and technology, and have hosted events featuring GOP presidential candidates Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina.

From 2013 to 2015 Ginn was elected Associate Delegate Representative for the California Republican Party. Ginn was the youngest elected member of the Executive Committee and Board of California.

In 2014, Ginn became the growth product manager for Everlane, a website that sells high-quality fashion at lower prices than traditional retailers.

In 2015, Ginn was appointed CTO of the California Young Republican Federation.
