Early career

Aaron Fish demonstrated an affinity for music and entertainment production at an early age when he acted as deejay for his elementary and high school graduations. In 1981, at the age of 19, he was hired by Vancouver-based CFOX-FM (99.3 The Fox) where, among other duties, he went on to engineer Terry David Mulligan’s CKLG morning show.

A turning point in his career began when he started an annual tradition of producing a boat cruise experience for 200 of his high school friends. The successful series of produced events led Fish to branch out into various forms of packaged entertainment properties and corporate sponsorship vehicles.

Middle career

In the 80s, Fish expanded his music industry experience, working as a deejay and entertainment coordinator at the 86 Street Music Hall built for the 1986 World's Fair while simultaneously packaging and producing theme parties that sold out from the early to late 80's. During this time, he started SixStar Attractions Inc. and Fish Entertainment under which he created and produced various entertainment events.

Throughout the 80s, Fish's entertainment vehicles grew in scope and drawing power through sponsorship integration, such as a draw prize for a $13,000 trip for two to 12 countries around the world.

By 1991, his first of multiple Party 2000 Gala events, inspired by New York-style cabarets, featured a dance floor large enough for 2,000 participants on New Year's Eve. The Party 2000 series, which successfully drew between 5,000 and 6,000 participants, also grew in scale each year, with the 1994 event including a million-dollar light-and-sound show, a simultaneous broadcast on Z 95.3 FM (now CKZZ Virgin Radio 95.3 FM), and a one-hour live TV special on the then active U.TV network.

Sponsorship integration

Fish continued to experiment with both his productions and his sponsor integration model throughout the late 90s in preparation for his Millennium New Year’s Eve party, dubbed BMW Party 2000. The production was an executive black tie event, selling out 2,800 tickets by mid-October and filling every room in the Hyatt Regency.

The BMW Party 2000 also integrated brand marketing from 15 corporate sponsors including BMW Group Canada Inc., The Province newspaper (a CanWest Global Communications Corp. company), and the Hyatt Regency, with sponsor advertising integrated across all media platforms and displayed throughout the venue, utilizing a marketing methodology similar to that used to fund sporting events.

Current career

In the 2000s, Fish started Modern Business Discovery Corporation under which he ran his first series of Internet-based events, the Million Dollar Dream Contest, in 2003. A second Dream Contest followed in 2004 with the two productions collectively drawing sponsors including Global Television Network (a CanWest Global Communications Corp. company), Ford Motor Company of Canada, BMW Group Canada Inc., and The Province newspaper (a CanWest Global Communications Corp. company).

In July 2008, Fish submitted a provisional patent in the United States for a new Digital Marketing and Revenue Generation system, followed by an international patent filing on July 17, 2009 with the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), and then, in 2010 and 2011, multiple national patent filings in the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom/Europe.

Fish is currently developing and producing various online and mobile sports, music and entertainment marketing properties as President and CEO of Dreams One Entertainment Co. and Accordios Worldwide Enterprises Inc.
