Aarbind Jena (born 20 May 1987, Jajpur, Odisha) is an Indian film and television actor.He spent most part of his childhood in his maternal uncle's place Bhubanpur village of Jajpur district where he attended his schooling from Madhupur Garh High School. He studied BSc in information science and telecommunication from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack (2005-2008). afterwards, he did MCA from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) (2008-2011). After MCA from BPUT; he went on to acquire dual master's degree by completing MBA from Sikkim Manipal University.

Early life

Aarbind was born to Bidyadhar Jena and Banaja Basini Jena in Jajpur district, Odisha. He is the eldest of two siblings. He was 23 years old when his father, a former employee in Indian Railway defence department, died on 18 November 2010. He spent most part of his childhood in his maternal uncle's place Bhubanpur village of Jajpur district where he attended his schooling from Madhupur Garh High School. He studied BSc in information science and telecommunication from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack (2005-2008). afterwards, he did MCA from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) (2008-2011). After MCA from BPUT; he went on to acquire dual master's degree by completing MBA from Sikkim Manipal University.

Acting career

Aarbind made his acting debut in 2006 at the age of 20 with in weekly TV serial Gaan directed by Arun Das which was telecasted on Doordarsan (Oriya) under Ranjit Pattanaik's script and Swarup Nayak's music direction.

He then did some government ad films for social awareness with director Dillip Mohanty, Ranjit Barik titled like "Bidhi Bidhan Sambidhan", "Ebe Nuhen Kebe Nuhen" etc.. Then did some TV serials including mega and weekly for Doordarsan (Oriya) like "Jay Sai Ram", "Pratishodh", "jhimiti Khela" etc., then he did some famous mega serials telecasted in Tarang TV (Oriya) like "Bohu" and "Kichhi Luha Pie jae Otho" and also did a documentary film "banya parara kahani" for Delhi Regional film festival in 2012. He acted in few devotional and romantic video albums like "Mahima Ithihasa", "Mahamaya Vattarika", "Kapilash Mahima", "Jibana sathi Prabhu Sarathi", "Mahima Itihasa 2" and "Pratahama Prema". He also featured in a commercial ad film for "Kutchina modular kitchen accessories" and so on.
