Aarambh: Kahani Devsena Ki is an Indian historical fiction, finite television series produced by Rose Audio Visuals, which was aired on Star Plus on weekends from 24 June 2017 to 10 September 2017. The story revolves around rivalry between Dravidians and Aryans. The story is written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad.
Set in ancient India during time period of the decline of Indus Valley Civilization and starting of age of Vedas the epic tale follows the war between the Dravidians and the Aryans.

Rajniesh Duggal as Varundev,one of the chieftains of Aryans.He is a loyal and skilled warrior
Jaldev/Shivgam (Disguise name),The reincarnation of Varundev and one of the destiny kids with power of Hydrokinetic energy .He is appointed to accomplish the mission of killing Devasena.
Vipul Gupta as Veer Abhrook,one of the chieftains of Aryans.He is a master of Disguise.He is initially jealous of Varundev and later befriends him,following the sacrifice of Varundev father's sacrifice to save him.
Tej Sapru as Head Purohit Agnimitra of the Aryans.He is the one who leads the Aryans and he is known as the devoted disciple of Indra.
Arav Chaudhary as Purohit Indramitra, Descendent of Agnimitra.He is also a leading man of Aryans with equal divine powers as his ancestor, Agnimitra. His only aim is to destroy the Dravidians and their princess Devsena.
Salman Shaikh as Sivaan, the dearest friend of Varundev. He is the navigator of Aryans.He influences Varundev to love Devsena.
Nishant Tanwar as Mahisha, one of the destiny kids. He is engaged to Devsena.He is sent by Queen Syala to abduct Devsena’s father.He has the power of Pyrokinesis.
Tarun Khanna as Veer Kayasth, one of the chieftains of Aryans. He is saved from Nimchas by Varundev, but was deeply injured and dies. He is later replaced by Varundev.

Kunal Bhatia as Manikarnika, a transgender priestess in Mahishi Devi temple. She has the power of Earth manipulation.

Karthika Nair as Devsena - The princess and queen to be of Dravidian throne.She is beautiful, loyal and brave.She sacrifices her life for love and her dynasty.
Devsena-After 200 years,Devsena is reincarnated and named after the warrior queen ,Devsena.She is also a destiny kid and is believed to bring the lost lands of Dravidians back.She is also a skilled and intelligent warrior. She has the power of Cryokinesis.
Tanuja as Hahuma - The soothsayer and the protector of Dravidian's throne.She is surrounded numerous snakes and is controlled by them as she is cursed.She lives over 400 years and leads the Dravidians. Though she is a Clairvoyant ,she is unable to clearly define the circumstances.
Joy Sengupta as Arvamudan – Devsena’s father.He is the primary caretaker and trainer of her.He is saved by Varundev in the battlefield.As per the Dravidian law,as he is saved by a n enemy,he is punished with Walk of shame and is ordered to be beheaded,which is not approved by Devsena.Devsena coronates herself as queen to present her father a respectful death and kills him.
Usha Jadhav as Thangam,Chief Knight of Dravidians.She is a ruthless warrior.
Haanssa Singh as Dayalini,another caretaker and aunt of Devsena.She is cunning and evil.She always plans to kill Devsena and become the queen due to her desire of power.
Madhoo as Queen Sambhavija/ Padmavija of Sambhav Pradesh,the Identical twin sisters.
Sambhavija is a loyal and brave queen.She desires to be the mother of the kid,who is going to be the queen of Dravidians and change their fate.She is arrested in the magical mirror by her evil twin sister.She is the mother of Devsena. Padmavija is the evil twin sister of Sambhavija.She is an expert of Witchcraft.She gets attracted to her sister's husband and arrests her sister in a magical mirror.She never ages due to her magical powers.She envies Devsena and plots to kill her.She is presently attracted to Mahisha. The lives of the twins are interlinked and so are their deaths.
Paras Chhabra as Kaal Ketu,a man with power Shapeshifting, who is appointed to kill Devsena.He is later frozen and smashed to death by Devsena.
Yashashri Masurkar as Princess Mekhla,daughter of Padmavija.She is vivacious and beautiful.She falls in love with Jaldev.She has a special bond with her sister,Devsena.
Soni Singh as Queen Syala,ruler of one of the Dravidian territory.She is unmarried and adores Silambhan.She plots to kill Sambhavija and abduct Silambhan,her former lover.
Vaquar Shaikh as Silambhan,husband of Sambhavija.He is a loyal husband and supports his wife Sambhavija in her decisions.He is unaware that Padmavija summoned Sambhavija.
