APMG International (the trading name for APM Group Ltd, commonly referred to as APMG) is a global accreditation body which develops and delivers professional certification schemes across several disciplines. APMG is headquartered in the United Kingdom but operates worldwide – with offices in the UK, United States, Benelux, Germany, Italy, South Africa, Spain, Canada, Brazil, India, Malaysia, China and Australia.

APMG was founded in 1993. In 2016 APMG was awarded Investors in People’s Gold standard for the third time.
External regulator
APMG is accredited to be a certification body by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) – the National Accreditation Body appointed by the UK Government to accredit organizations providing certification services.
Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs)
APMG accredits training organizations to deliver training courses for its certification schemes. Training organizations apply to begin the accreditation process by contacting APMG's accreditation team. The training organization is then assessed against UKAS standards.
Training organizations that are successful become recognized as APMG Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs). APMG also accredits individuals to become accredited independent trainers.
Accredited Consulting Organizations (ACOs)
APMG also accredits consulting organizations to provide consultancy services in some of APMG’s key areas of involvement - such as project and programme management, IT service management and change management.
ACOs undergo a similar accreditation process as ATOs, as they are assessed against UKAS standards.
Exams
APMG produces the exams and courseware materials for its certification schemes. Most of the certification schemes require candidates to pass an exam before they are awarded a certificate.

APMG provides certification schemes in the following areas: Areospace, Business Management and Improvement, Change, Risk and Benefits Management, IT Governance and Service Management, Project, Programme and Portfolio Management, Public-Private Partnerships and Cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity
APMG has a portfolio of cybersecurity products and certification schemes. These are designed to upskill cybersecurity professionals and help organizations establish good cybersecurity practice and defence. The portfolio includes CDCAT – a tool developed by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and UK Government schemes like GCHQ Certified Training (GCT).
Public-Private Partnerships Certification Program
The Public-Private Partnerships Certification Program (often referred to as PPP Certification Program) is a global certification program on PPPs. The certification program is designed to equip PPP practitioners with the knowledge needed to plan, prepare, develop and manage well-structured PPP projects by developing a common language on PPPs.
APMG Business Books
APMG Business Books is an online book store which mainly sells the core texts pertaining to the certification schemes offered by APMG. It also provides free project management templates and case studies.
