Early life and education
Agrawal attended the University of San Diego where he was a member of the Cal Beta Beta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. During his time with the fraternity, he held the largest number of leadership positions with the chapter. It was his experience as the fraternity's president that helped launch his first entrepreneurial idea. He graduated with a degree in finance in 2013.
Career
Agrawal founded GreekPull in 2012 along with entrepreneur Eghosa Aihie. The platform allowed alumni members of campus organizations such as fraternities to create and fund projects to support themselves. Agrawal and the company participated in the Velocity accelerator, a program that accepts five early-stage companies per year. Upon completion, Agrawal enrolled in a coding boot camp in order to complete the coding work for the project in-house. The company transitioned into alumni engagement in addition to crowdfunding, rebranding with the name Alumnify and later graduating from the 500 Startups accelerator.
