  • Sayf al-Dawla raids into the Byzantine theme of Lykandos, but is defeated. The Byzantines counter-attack and seize Germanikeia, defeating an army from Tarsus, and raiding as far south as Antioch. Theophilos Kourkouas captures Theodosiopolis for Byzantium.
