Service

The 6th Missouri Cavalry was mustered in for three years service on February 14, 1862 by consolidation of Wright's Cavalry Battalion, Wood's Cavalry Battalion, and Hawkins' Cavalry Battalion under the command of Colonel Clark Wright.
