The 58th Rice Bowl was an American football championship game that was played on January 3, 2005, at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. In this, the 58th annual Rice Bowl, the Matsushita Denko Impulse, champions of the X-League, played the Ritsumeikan Panthers, West Japan Champions and the champions of the Kansai Collegiate American Football League.
