The 57th Ohio Volunteer Infantry (or 57th OVI) was an infantry regiment in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

Service

The 57th Ohio Infantry was organized at Camp Vance in Findlay, Ohio and mustered in for three years service on December 12, 1861 under the command of Colonel William Mungen.
