The 2017 Women's World Ice Hockey Championships is the 19th such event hosted by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Teams will participate at several levels of competition. The competition will also serve as qualifications for the 2018 competition.

Championship (Top Division)

The tournament will be held in Plymouth Township, Michigan, United States from 31 March to 7 April 2017. All matches will be held at USA Hockey Arena, using both of the arena's two rinks.

Group A

The tournament will be held in Graz, Austria from 15 to 21 April 2017.

    The tournament will be held in Reykjavík, Iceland from 27 February to 5 March 2017.

  •  Turkey – Elevated from Division II B Qualification with Croatia's withdrawal
