Team changes

  • PK Carsports's Elite 1 driver Bert Longin left the series after three seasons to focus on his European Le Mans Series and Belcar campaigns. His seat was filled by his son Stienes who won the Elite 2 championship in 2016. In the Elite 2 class, Guillaume Dumarey joines the series. Dumarey has previously raced with PK Carsport in Belcar and the Belgian BMW M235i Racing Cup
  • Brass Racing was forced to make a name change. As the name was EU registered by another company, the racing team is now called Braxx Racing for 2017. The team retained drivers drivers Jerry De Weerdt and Marc Goossens in the Elite 1 class. De Weerdt will also compete in the Elite 2 class.
  • CAAL Racing announced their Elite 2 line up on January 14th, 2017 on their Facebook page. Justin Kunz and Salvador Tineo Arroyo left the team being replaced by rookie Gil Linster and Felipe Rabello. Rabello raced in 2016 with SPV Racing at Zolder. Arianna Cassoli continues with CAAL Racing after she raced at Adria and Zolder with the team in 2016. In addition, the team's car #56 will be renumbered to #36 for 2017.
  • Scorpus Racing will return to NASCAR Euro Series in 2017, after last competing in the series in 2013. The team will field car #18 and #85 for the 2017 season, with the drivers and the manufacturer yet to be announced.
  • Schedule and results

  • Brands Hatch will return to the series following a deal signed on June 12, 2016 for a partnership running through 2022. A date has however not been announced yet.
  • Raceway Venray announced its date on October 25, switching from the Pinkster weekend (June 2 through 4th in 2017) to an entirely new date on 15th and 16 July, held in conjunction with the LMV8 Eurocup.
  • Tours Speedway will not return to the schedule for 2017 after being a staple of the series for five consecutive seasons and the first oval the series visited.
  • On October 27, 2016 Motorsport.com published an article confirming the series would return to Germany during the first weekend of July in conjunction with the Truck Grand Prix, using the National Circuit at the Hockenheimring.
  • The schedule was announced on November 29, 2016, showing Franciacorta has replaced Adria as the host for the Semi-Finals. With the sole exception of Tours all other events from 2016 were retained
