The 2017 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship will be the 34th staging of the All-Ireland hurling championship for players in the intermediate grade since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship will begin in May 2017 and in August 2017.

Overview
The 2017 championship will see the fewest number of teams participating in recent years. The Munster Championship will not be held as Cork were the only team that expressed an interest in fielding a team.
