The 2016 NHK Trophy was the last of six events in the 2016–17 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a series of senior-level invitational competitions. It took place November 25–27, 2016 in Sapporo, Japan. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Skaters also earned points toward qualifying for the 2016–17 Grand Prix Final.
