These are competitions organised by Intercommunal Football Association of Maribor (MNZ Maribor) who is one of the nine Intercommunal Football Associations that are responsible for competitions below Slovenian Third League in the Slovenian football league system.

On July 12, 2016 it was announced that the 3 league format will remain, however a couple of weeks later a new format with only two leagues was announced. League schedules were also changed.
1. MNZ League
1. MNZ League is a 4th tier competition in Slovenian football pyramid. The league began on August 20, 2016 and will end in June 2017.
2. MNZ League
2. MNZ League is a 5th tier competition in Slovenian football pyramid. The league began on August 27, 2016 and will end in June 2017.
MNZ Maribor Cup
All member clubs of MNZ Maribor except those in the top flight (NK Maribor) are eligible to participate in the cup. Clubs that play in 1. MNZ League (4th level) or higher are required to participate, while participation for lower level clubs is optional.
Both finalists will qualify for 2017–18 Slovenian Cup.
Bracket
Draw with all the pairings up to the final was made on August 3, 2016.
All rounds will be contested in a single game (first team is the host).
