2015–16 Persian Gulf Pro League (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 33rd season of Iran's Football League and 15th as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Sepahan were the defending champions. The season featured 14 teams from 2014–15 Persian Gulf Pro League and two new teams promoted from 2014–15 Azadegan League: Siah Jamegan as Group A champions and Esteghlal Ahvaz as replacement for Group B champions Foolad Novin, which was ineligible for promotion since they are the reserve side of Foolad F.C..
