3 January - Aslaidon Zaimaj wins the fourth season of The Voice of Albania.
7 February - Ledion Liço is announced as the new host of Big Brother, taking over from Arbana Osmani, who is being pregnant with her baby.
10 February - Singer Tuna and her partner Simone Pigliacelli win the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars.
1 June - Edea Demaliaj wins the fourth season of X Factor.
13 June - Vesel Kurtishaj wins the eighth season of Big Brother.
27 December - Eneda Tarifa is selected to represent Albania at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Përrallë". She is selected to be the thirteenth Albanian Eurovision entry during Festivali i Këngës 54 held at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
