  • 25 May - 12-year-old Rita Thaçi wins the first season of The Voice Kids Albania.
  • 1 June - Anaid Kaloti wins the sixth season of Big Brother.
  • 28 December - Hersiana Matmuja is selected to represent Albania at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Zemërimi i një nate". She is selected to be the eleventh Albanian Eurovision entry during Festivali i Këngës 52 held at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
