The 2013 season is Selangor FA This time is to first prove Irfan Bakti Abu Salim Selangor and his ability to win the Malaysia FA Cup, Malaysia Super League and Malaysia Cup.

Teams

A total of twelve teams will compete in the 2013 season which includes the top 10 teams that participated in the 2012 season, champion of the 2012 Malaysia Premier League, and the winner of the play-off round between teams finishing 11th to 13th in the Super League as well as the team finishing 2nd in the Premier League.

Kuala Lumpur FA was relegated at the end of the 2012 Malaysia Super League season after finishing in the bottom place of the league table. Sarawak FA, Sabah FA and Kedah FA were also relegated after losing the playoffs.

2012 Malaysia Premier League champions Angkatan Tentera Malaysia secured direct promotion to the Super League. Meanwhile, 2012 Malaysia Premier League runner-up Pahang FA clinched the promotion after winning the playoff rounds.

    Malaysia FA Cup

    The draw for the Malaysia FA Cup 2013 was held at Wisma FAM on 10 December 2012.

    Cambodian club Preah Khan Reach is invited for the 2nd time. to participate in the Malaysia FA Cup, after exiting in the Round of 16 in the 2012 edition.

    The Singapore club LionsXII is also participating for the second time in this competition, after being knocked out in the first round by PKNS to a 1–0 aggregate loss.

    Round of 32

    The first round will commence on 25 January 2013.

    Round of 16

    The second round will commence on 26 February 2013.

    Quarter-finals

    The first leg matches will be played on 6 April 2013, with the second legs to be held on 16 April 2013.

    Semi-finals

    The first leg matches will be played on 25 May 2013, with the second legs to be held on 28 May 2013.

    The first legs were played on 27 & 28 September 2013, and the second legs were played on 4 & 5 October 2013.

    Second leg

    ATM FA won 4–2 on aggregate.

    Pahang FA won 5–3 on aggregate.

    Sarawak FA won 3–1 on aggregate.

    Kelantan FA won 8–5 on aggregate.

    Semi-finals

    The first leg will be played on 18 & 19 October while the second leg will be played on 25 & 26 October.

    Second Leg

    Kelantan FA won 4–3 on aggregate.

    Pahang FA won 4–2 on aggregate.

    Final

    The Final will be played on 3 Nov 2013 at Shah Alam Stadium, Shah Alam.
