The 2013–14 Atlético Madrid season is the 83rd season in the club's history. Los Colchoneros were crowned champions for the 10th time, by drawing against Barcelona in the last league game.

The Rojiblancos played against Real Madrid at the Estádio da Luz, Lisbon, in the 2014 UEFA Champions League Final on 24 May 2014, but lost 4–1 after extra time.

June

On 1 June, Atlético sold Colombian striker Radamel Falcao to Monaco for a reported £50 million. Shortly afterwards, on 3 June, Atlético announced that Brazilian attacker Léo Baptistão from Rayo Vallecano had signed a five-year contract with the club for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around €7 million.

On 22 June, Atlético Madrid reached an agreement with Chelsea for the loan of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for a third successive season.

On 8 July, Spanish striker David Villa was transferred from Barcelona to Atlético for a transfer fee of €5.1 million.
