Events

8 January - Launch of the Albanian version of The X Factor.

10 February - Rina Bilurdagu wins the first season of The Voice of Albania.

26 May - Arbër Zeka wins the fifth season of Big Brother, becoming the show's first Albanian winner from Kosovo.

10 June - Sheila Haxhiraj wins the first season of X Factor.

15 June - Singer Elvana Gjata and her partner Gerdi Vaso win the third season of Dancing with the Stars.

22 December - Adrian Lulgjuraj & Bledar Sejko are selected to represent Albania at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Identitet". They are selected to be the tenth Albanian Eurovision entry during Festivali i Këngës 51 held at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
