In association football, the 2012–13 season of F.B.C. Unione Venezia's was their first season in Lega Pro Seconda after promotion from Serie D in 2011–12. The season culminated in a 3rd place league finish, followed by Playoff Final victory to secure promotion to Lega Pro Prima Divisione.

Contents

On 12 May 2013, with a 3-2 win over Savona, they finished in 3rd place and qualified for the playoffs.

On June 1 Venezia overcame Renate in the playoff semi-final 2nd leg, following a 1-1 1st leg draw with a 1-0 win to qualify for the playoff final. The home leg of the playoff semi-final was played in the neutral stadium Stadio Piergiovanni Mecchia in Portogruaro because of damage to a tower in the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo which had rendered the stadium unsafe.

On June 16 in the playoff final second leg, Venezia defeated Monza 3-2 with a 94th-minute winner from Davide D'Appolonia to seal promotion to Lega Pro Prima Divisione. This was Venezia's second promotion in as many years.
