Based on the Sky's 2009 record, they would pick 4th in the Sacramento Monarchs dispersal draft. The Sky picked Courtney Paris.

February 2: The Sky re-signed free agent Dominique Canty.

March 30: The Sky traded Candice Dupree to the Phoenix Mercury and their second-round pick in the 2010 Draft to the New York Liberty in exchange for Shameka Christon and Cathrine Kraayeveld.

April 20: The Sky released Katie Mattera.

April 25: The Sky signed Larrissa Williams, Kristi Cirone, Sami Whitcomb and Sandora Irvin to training camp contracts.

May 2: The Sky waived Kristi Cirone and Shyra Ely.

May 9: The Sky waived Sami Whitcomb and Larrissa Williams.

May 11: The Sky suspended K.B. Sharp for the 2010 season.

May 13: The Sky waived Courtney Paris.

May 13: The Sky traded Kristi Toliver to the Los Angeles Sparks in exchange for their 2011 second-round draft pick.
