The 2010–11 season was Wrexham's 3rd consecutive year in the Conference National since their relegation from The Football League at the end of the 2007–08 season.

Events
Pre-season
Wrexham opened their pre-season schedule with a 4–0 win over Vauxhall Motors on 13 July with goals from Andrew Mangan, Wes Baynes, Gareth Taylor and trialist Jamie Tolley. After suffering their first defeat in their following match, losing 1–0 to Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town, a team made up mostly of reserve and youth players travelled to play Sudbury on 20 July, winning 3–2. The following day, Wrexham played the first pre-season match at their home ground, drawing 0–0 with a Liverpool XI. In the following four matches of the club's pre-season schedule, Wrexham recorded a 4–0 win over Nantwich Town, a 1–1 draw with Preston North End and a 2–0 defeat to Crewe Alexandra before drawing 2–2 against Airbus UK Broughton. Wrexham finished their pre-season schedule with a 0–0 draw with Stoke City and a 5–1 win over Colwyn Bay.
