The Calgary Oval X-Treme suspended his activities for the season 2009-10 but will spend the upcoming season (2010–2011) re-establishing a home arena and training returning Olympic team and newly recruited players.

The first Round

Minnesota Whitecaps sweep Edmonton Chimos: in the first game (Saturday January 30, 2010 in Edmonton) Whitecaps player Rachael Drazan giving the Whitecaps a 2-1 overtime win over Edmonton. Game two on Sunday afternoon 31 January was a Whitecaps victory of 5-3 over the Chimos.

The Final Round

  • The first game of the series was Friday February 5, 2010 at Minnetonka's Pagel Ice Arena: Minnesota Whitecaps 6-3 Strathmore Rockies.
  • The second game of the series was Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Victory Memorial Ice Arena: Strathmore Rockies win 4-3 over the Minnesota Whitecaps.
  • Minnesota wins title based on most goals scored. Minnesota win the WWHL Championship
