21 December - Kejsi Tola is selected to represent Albania at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Më merr në ëndërr". She is selected to be the sixth Albanian Eurovision entry during Festivali i Këngës 47 held at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
