The number of participants on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions:

Main Phase

24 teams will be drawn to 6 pools of 4 teams each. The 1st – 2nd ranked and four with best score 3rd teams ranked will qualify for the Play-off 1/8 finals. The 2 remaining 3rd ranked teams and the two 4th ranked teams with the best score move to CEV Cup. The remaining 4th ranked teams are eliminated.
