Events

  • 12 May - Albania enters the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time with "The Image of You" performed by Anjeza Shahini.
  • 18 December - Ledina Çelo is selected to represent Albania at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Nesër Shkoj". She is selected to be the second Albanian Eurovision entry during Festivali i Këngës 43 held at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana.
