The 2004–05 Divizia B was the 65th season of Divizia B, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. It was the second in this format (three series of 16 teams each).

Contents

The first team from each series was promoted at the end of the season to the Divizia A, while the bottom three were relegated to the Divizia C.

Seria I

1 Unirea Focşani was expelled from the competition, due to its failure to play two consecutive games.
2 Politehnica Timişoara refers to the club owned by the Italian businessman Claudio Zambon, not to the club competing in the Divizia A under a similar name.
