The 1999 Australian Formula Ford Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing title for drivers of Formula Ford racing cars. It was the 30th national series for Formula Fords to be held in Australia and 7th to be contested under the Australian Formula Ford Championship name.

Calendar

The championship was contested over an eight round series with two races per round.

  • Round 1, Eastern Creek, New South Wales, 28 March
  • Round 2, Barbagallo Raceway, Western Australia, 2 May
  • Round 3, Phillip Island, Victoria, 16 May
  • Round 4, Sandown, Victoria, 27 June
  • Round 5, Queensland Raceway, Queensland, 11 July
  • Round 6, Calder Park, Victoria, 25 July
  • Round 7, Winton, Victoria, 22 August
  • Round 8. Oran Park, New South Wales, 5 September
  • Points system

    Championship points were awarded on a 20-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 basis to the top ten finishers in each race.

    Race 1 of Round 1 at Eastern Creek was stopped prematurely due to an incident and only half points were awarded for that race.
