The 1995–96 Buffalo Sabres season was the Sabres' 26th season in the National Hockey League. The Sabres missed the playoffs for the first time since 1987. This was the team's final season at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium which is the home arena since 1970 until they move their new arena in 1996 at Marine Midland Arena now the Keybank Center
