The 1994–95 Southern Football League season saw Hednesford Town win the Premier Division to earn promotion to the Football Conference. Solihull Borough, Sittingbourne, Trowbridge Town and Corby Town were relegated to the Midland and Southern Divisions, whilst Newport, Salisbury City, Ilkeston Town and Baldock Town were promoted to the Premier Division, the former two as champions.

The clubs finishing bottom of the Midland and Southern Divisions, Armitage and Burnham, were relegated to level eight leagues.

Premier Division

The Premier Division featured five new clubs:

  • Leek Town (transferred from the Northern Premier League)
  • Gravesend & Northfleet (promoted from the Southern Division)
  • Rushden & Diamonds (promoted from the Midland Division)
  • Sudbury Town (promoted from the Southern Division)
  • VS Rugby (promoted from the Midland Division)
  • Midland Division

    The Midland Division featured five new clubs:

  • Rothwell Town (promoted from the United Counties League)
  • Buckingham Town (transferred from the Southern Division)
  • Ilkeston Town (promoted from the West Midlands (Regional) League)
  • Moor Green (relegated from the Premier Division)
  • Nuneaton Borough (relegated from the Premier Division)
  • Southern Division

    The Southern Division featured five new clubs

  • Bashley (relegated from the Premier Division)
  • Clevedon Town (transferred from the Midland Division)
  • Waterlooville (relegated from the Premier Division)
  • Weston-super-Mare (transferred from the Midland Division)
  • Yate Town (transferred from the Midland Division)
