The 1990–91 BCAFL was the sixth full season of the British Collegiate American Football League, organised by the British Students American Football Association.

Changes from Last Season

  • With the increase to 19 teams, the four Conferences was merged into Northern & Southern Conferences.
  • There were three new teams, representing:
  • Aston University, joining the Southern Conference
  • University of Cambridge, joining the Southern Conference
  • University of Leeds, joining the Northern Conference
  • Newcastle Scholars changed their name to Newcastle Mariners
  • Sheffield Pirates changed their name to Sheffield Zulus
  • Playoffs
