West First Round

The Jazz-Rockets playoff series was noteworthy for Billy Paultz's constant badgering of #1 overall draft pick and future Rockets superstar Hakeem Olajuwon. Paultz spent much of the game engaging in defensive antics such as waving his hand in front of Olajuwon's face and the like. Olajuwon eventually became so annoyed he reacted during the game, looking around during a mid-game dead ball to see if the refs were paying attention, then punching Paultz directly in the face. The incident was captured on national TV and re-played over and over throughout the rest of the game, which the Jazz ultimately won.
