Overview

Dumbarton finished 11th, out of 20, in the Second Division with 36 points - 18 behind champions Ayr United. The highlight of an otherwise unremarkable season was the record-breaking goal scoring of Angus Urquhart, who scored 36 goals in 36 league appearances.
