The 1901 Nebraska Cornhuskers football team was the representative of the University of Nebraska in the 1901 college football season. The team was coached by Walter C. "Bummy" Booth and played their home games at Antelope Field in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Before the season
Nebraska was coming off one of its best ever seasons with second-year head coach Booth, and hoping to continue the success.
After the season
Coach Booth finished his second season with a 6-2-0 (.750) record, dropping his Nebraska career record to 12-3-1 (.781), but raising Nebraska's overall program record to 53-28-5 (.645).
