Head coach George Hoskins (2nd year) |
The 1893 Penn State Nittany Lions football team represented the Pennsylvania State University in the 1893 college football season. The team was coached by George Hoskins.
Despite the article title, the school did not adopt the Nittany Lion as its mascot until 1907.
It would be the first team to play on Beaver Field, Penn State football's first permanent home.
