1784 Benguella, provisional designation 1935 MG, is an asteroid from the asteroid belt discovered by English-born South African astronomer Cyril Jackson at Union Observatory, Johannesburg on 30 June 1935. The asteroid measures about 17 kilometers in diameter and orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.1–2.7 AU once every 3 years and 9 months.
The asteroid is named after Angola's city and chief port Benguela, formerly spelled Benguella.
