1185 Nikko is a main-belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1,222.441 days (3.35 years).
The asteroid was discovered on November 17, 1927, by Japanese astronomer Okurō Oikawa at Tokyo Astronomical Observatory and is named after the Japanese city of Nikkō.
Photometric observations of this asteroid collected during 2004 show a rotation period of 3.79 ± 0.01 hours with a brightness variation of 0.34 ± 0.03 magnitude.
