11694 Esterhuysen (1998 FO70) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on March 20, 1998, by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.

The asteroid was named for Stephanus Albertus Esterhuysen (b. 1983), a then student at the Technical High School in Potchefstroom, North West Province South Africa, who was a finalist with his engineering project: "Corundum and Spinel Synthesis" in the 2002 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
