1135 Colchis, provisionally designated 1929 TA, is a main-belt asteroid discovered by Russian astronomer Grigory Neujmin at the Crimean Simeiz Observatory on 3 October 1929. The X-type asteroid measures about 51 kilometers in diameter and has an orbital period of 4.35 years. Its perihelion is at 2.35 AU

It was named for the ancient Kingdom of Colchis, bordering on Black Sea south of the Caucasus mountains, in what is now part of Georgia.
