109 Virginis is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +3.73. It is approximately 129 light years from Earth. This star has 2.3 times the mass of the Sun and 1.7 times the Sun's radius. It shines with 23 times the luminosity of the Sun, with the energy being radiated from its outer atmosphere at an effective temperature of 9,820 K.
